Is CutCo Cutlery a scam? An honest review

Is CutCo Cutlery a scam? Here is my honest review.

If you’re reading this review, chances are you’re looking for information on Cutco Cutlery or perhaps you’re thinking about becoming a distributor and wondering if the company is credible or a scam. In either case, I want to encourage you to read this entire review so you’re in a position to make an educated decision about the company and the business opportunity. In this simple third party review, I’ll go into the actual company, the products they market, the compensation plan and how you can position yourself ahead of your competition, should you decide to join.
Vector Marketing Corporation™ is a single-level direct sales firm that markets Cutco Cutlery®, a line of kitchen cutlery, accessories and sporting knives of the highest quality. With its administrative headquarters in Olean, NY, Vector Marketing is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cutco Corporation, which has been manufacturing Cutco Cutlery since 1949.
Handcrafted in the United States of the finest materials, Cutco products have a Forever Guarantee that protects the consumer’s investment. As the sole distributor of Cutco, Vector Marketing has offices across the United States and Canada. Vector Marketing Corporation belongs to the Direct Selling Association, whose members are leading companies engaged in direct selling in the United States. All DSA members adhere to a strict CODE OF ETHICSand promote a high standard of integrity in our industry.
Vector Marketing’s annual sales are in excess $200 million dollars; a compelling testament to the fundamentals of our business: People, Products, and Programs. Currently, there are more than 250 Vector offices in the U.S. and Canada.
As far as their products go, Vector Marketing is the sole distributor of Cutco Cutlery®. Cutco’s commitment to quality and innovation was established nearly 6 decades ago, and has continued through today. That commitment is evident throughout each step of the manufacturing process, from the selection of steel to the final inspection of each piece before it leaves the factory. Cutco’s unique features and benefits make it “The World’s Finest Cutlery.”
Made in Olean, New York since 1949, Cutco is proud to be an American-made product with more than 16 million Cutco owners in the United States. Cutco products are backed by a FOREVER GUARANTEE that protects the consumer’s investment forever.
The Cutco product line began with 10 basic pieces (the Homemaker Set) that have guided millions of cooks through years of recipes and culinary creations. Available with classic brown or pearl white handles, Cutco pieces are assembled into various sets, perfect for starter kitchens or experienced cooks. Cutco products can also be bought individually. Our sets make great gifts for any occasion.
Vector Marketing is different. When you think about the kinds of settings and work that students typically do, what comes to mind? Summer camps, restaurants, retail, babysitting, manual labor, and office help to name a few. Those can all be great experiences, but THIS is not that.
Why are so many students attracted to the Vector opportunity? Because they offer a tremendous learning experience in a flexible and fun environment.
They will share with you the best strategies for selling Cutco and train you to do everything you need to do to be successful. Our managers are here to help you and are a great resource. Because you will work as an independent contractor, nobody at Vector is going to set your schedule, tell you when to get to work, or how much time you should put into the effort. Ultimately, it’s up to you.

Is CutCo a Scam?
After taking a close look at the company, it’s easy to see that Cutco is most definitely not a scam. They have a solid corporate team, high quality products and a lucrative business opportunity. With that said, having all those things is not enough to win with. At the end of the day, your success will depend on your ability to sponsor people, sell products and build a productive team. While you can obviously build a business in your current state imagine the productivity and monetary opportunities you would have with a healthier thinner you. I challenge you to take that leap and begin investing yourself. Enter your name and email address in the box to the right to begin that investment in a better you.

  1. Hey I respect your review, this was very detailed and concise on the points that you wanted to high light but I must bring in to account that Vector Marketing has a lot of deceptive practices within their companies and flat out lie to many of their prospects just to get them to join the company. I know some people are successful with the business and use it to help them in different other business ventures but the facts still remain that they are not a honest company. Here is my review of this company here as well as a video I made talking about my personal experience with Vector Marketing a few years back. http://mcanetworkacademy.com/jasminepenn/2013/05/27/vector-marketing-scam/

  3. Their sales rep tactics aren't unified at all, and there's little to make, but I guess that's not really a scam.
